Our resolve to have a printing press is one of autonomy and craftsmanship. Onto paper, words wind themselves and are bound into books; now it will be our four hands that tend to the work! We’re fierce with our love of language, our passion sows itself in the page like birds dropping on the ground what will soon sprout spring buds. We promise so dearly to not spread information as the marketplace vapidly does. We will wander insatiably with a finely pointed pen so as to carry on only the most intimate understandings of this ghastly place. The strength and peculiarity of each author and artisan we print will be dissipated with great care. For I Cannot Be Quiet is proud to announce itself to you, dear friends, dear enemies!

PLEDGES & PRIZES
Our total financial goal is $3,600. This amount will cover the basic machines and supplies that are required to set up a printing press. We are fundraising based on Pledges and Prizes: when you donate a certain amount to support the project, you will in turn receive a corresponding prize. The prizes are added onto each other: meaning that when you pledge $100, you will receive each previous prize and the prize related to that dollar amount! We’ve chosen the prizes based on their relevance to the up-and-coming press project, as most of them will be printed on the Multilith 1250! Several of the other prizes are related to Seattle or to writing. Please write or talk with us about setting up a payment plan, future donations, and of course, project ideas.
